The Honeywell Analytics Vertex M is a toxic gas monitor using a universal Chemcassette analyser supplied with eight points. A further two analysers can be added to expand the capability to 24 points of continuous monitoring. The addition of a Pyrolyzer analyser for NF3 uses two rack spaces, its monitors eight points leaving room for only one universal Chemcassette analyser giving a maximum of 16 detection points.
Vertex M has been made for the microelectronics industry, semiconductor fabrication plants and other high tech industries. More than 40 toxic gases can be detected with more being added. An economical solution compared to other multi-point systems, XP Chemcassettes provide up to three months of continuous monitoring, four months versions are now available too, see below. Identification tags prevent the human error of loading a cassette not configured for the analyser.
There are two removable 60 gigabyte hard drives for data retrieval, data acquisition and configuration are possible without taking the unit offline. Also included is a CD -ROM, a high-speed modem, touch keypad, and LCD anti-glare touch screen located on the front panel 1024 x 768 resolution.
Optional components include ChemCam, Output relays (non-isolated or isolated), Isolated 4-20 mA output (separate enclosure), LonWorks Remote software, DeviceNet, Sample Line integrity test, ControlNet, Ethernet/CIP, Modbus Plus, Modbus/TCP, Profibus and DF1 Interface.
